Our camp will run from Monday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27 from 12:30 to 4:30pm. We’ll be using either the UBC fields or Jericho Park, to be confirmed soon.

Coaching Staff

Graham Turner and Theo Sauder will be leading the program, with additional specialist coaches to be announced in the coming days.

How to Apply

Due to the demand for spots, and the limited number available, we have a short application process for prospective players. Please fill out an application no later than June 5th. Successful applicants will be confirmed by Friday, June 7th. You can find our application here: westcoastacademy.ca/application

Cost

We are not doing this to make money. Our goal is to break even in our first year, and make our program accessible to everyone in the community. We simply want the best, and most motivated players.

Therefore, to cover our expenses we are charging $500 per player for the 4 days of our camp. Successful applicants will have further information on payment information. If, for any reason, cost is a factor for you please reach out to info@westcoastacademy.ca and I’m sure we can work something out.

Program Details

Our programming will be highly skill based, with limited contact. This is informed by the significant wear and tear most young athletes have over the course of the club, and school seasons. We are aiming for technical quality, not quantity, and repetitive / strenuous activities will be managed carefully.

Our goal is to maximize our on field time, and supplement it with expert insight and advice from on and off field experts.
